Our newest Consortium opportunity - PLAN Hoopla Flex Content

PLAN and hoopla are announcing the formation of a consortium for hoopla Flex content- one copy, one user model
Year for the consortium will run from October 1 to September 30
Annual fee for inaugural year of consortium - $500
Titles will be limited to ebooks and eaudiobooks at this time; no videos
Consortium fee will be charged annually - no partial year calculations - to add additional titles
100 percent of the fee will be used to purchase content; there are no platform or hosting fees
Content will be purchased and managed by PLAN staff
Consortium participants will meet virtually twice a year to discuss consortium management - in August and in February
Consortium fees will not be raised without approval by a majority of the members at the February consortium meeting
Members may join the consortium at any time during the consortium year upon payment of the consortium fee
Books and audiobooks are either perpetual or 2 year access rights - depends on the publisher - but all are one user at a time
Individual consortium members can add hoopla Flex content for their own users outside of the consortium and patrons will see an integrated catalog
Libraries that leave the consortium will not have access to the consortium titles.
Consortium membership is on an annual basis - year to year
Consortium is only funded by member content contributions
